Fabulous Pair of Antique Cast Iron Single-Arm Sconces, Early 1900’s
Catalog # NSP351-RW
This is a wonderful pair of antique cast iron single-arm sconces, dating from the early 1900’s. Each sconce features a substantial, rectangular back plate with an egg and dart border. A corbel-style arm, ornamented with a graceful floret and leaf design, extends from the middle of the back plate. The arm supports a scalloped shade holder with a beautiful, translucent round globe. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 12” tall, 5 ½” wide, and projects 8” from the wall.
