A fabulous set of four matching double-arm sconces dating to the early 1900’s. They retain their original, beautifully aged, bronze plating over cast iron. The sconces have shield backs with nicely hammered surface, crown tops below which are two acorns, and finely cast shields toward the bottom of the back plates issuing two sconce arms that hold castle-detailed candle-cups. They are signed by their maker, Polk Co. and are perfect for English Tudor, Spanish Revival or Old World decors. The wall lamps and are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia sake, however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. They are 10 ½” long, 9 ½” wide and protrude 4” from the wall. The price is for one pair of sconces, there are two pairs available.
