A handsome set of four matching cast iron double-arm sconces in the English Tudor style and dating to the early 1900’s. The have shield backs with nicely hammered surface, crown tops below which are two acorns, and finely cast shields towards the bottom of the back plates issuing two sconce arms that hold castle-detailed candle-cups. The sconces are signed by the Polk Co. The wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia sake, however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. They are 10 ¾” long, 9 ½” wide and protrude 3 ¾” from the wall. The price is for one pair of sconces, there are two pairs available.
