Details

This magnificent six light chandelier is suspended by substantial chain and radiates with presence. Manufactured in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s by renowned chandelier maker, Beardslee of Chicago, this piece exhibits a dramatic magnitude, is of ample mass, and exceptionally well-made. This gorgeous chandelier displays the original, nicely worn, nickel finish. The body of the chandelier begins with a trefoil-style top finial. Six S-curved arms extend from the center globe featuring figural, swan detailing where the arms meet the base (shown in photos). Each arm ends with a trefoil-style embellishment, and supports a simple, banded bobeche. Perched beneath the large, bottom sphere of the light fixture’s base is a lovely, scalloped, loop finial to complete the piece. This Colonial Revival chandelier is truly marvelous, and is signed at the canopy (shown in photo). This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 24”; the length of the chandelier only is 24”; the overall length is 55 ¼”.
