These superb Neoclassical style sconces are cast pewter with fantastic silver plating. With a mantle-style body showing a leafy banding, these sconces display a treillage design about the center portion, which highlights the ornately cast flower urn midpoint. The corbel-style sconce arms support two-piece and ornately decorated bobeches. These dazzling sconces reflect traditional Neoclassical adornments throughout including acanthus, helixes, and lovely palmettes. Due to extraordinary patina, each of these sconces is slightly different in hue, which only accentuates their uniqueness (please see photos). These wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctional antique turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. These are 12” long, 9 3/8” wide and protrude 4” from the wall.
