A handsome pair of antique cast iron Tudor sconces in their original finish, made and signed by Markel Electric Products. Dating from the 1920’s, these double-arm sconces feature a hammered backplate with faux riveted detail and a crimped edge. The sconce arms are connected by an intricate design of volutes; each arm ends in a quatrefoil with a twisted spike below and a crimped bobeche above. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 10” tall, 9 ½” wide, and project 4 ¼” from the wall.
