Details
This is a fantastic antique iron and brass five-light chandelier, made and signed by Moe-Bridges in the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a simple loop finial and comes down in five iron bands and a twisted rod, forming the chandelier body. The bands have a charming crackled black finish, and are connected at top and bottom by crown-like brass pieces ornamented with red crests. At the bottom of the chandelier, the bands curve back upward to form the chandelier arms; each arm supports a scalloped bobeche with a twisted spike finial beneath. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20 ¾” wide and 25” tall, and the fixture is 39 ¾” long overall.
