A remarkable pair of antique brass figural sconces, dating from the 1920’s. These single-arm sconces feature a simple, round backplate with a floral button in the center. A woman’s head, probably depicting a Greek goddess, ornaments the bottom of the backplate. A smooth sconce arm holds a simple brass bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 8 ½” tall, 4 ½” wide, and project 5” from the wall.
