A fabulous pair of antique brass and cast iron sconces, dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features a hammered cast iron backplate with volutes at the top and acanthus leaves at the bottom. A reeded brass arm, ornamented with leaves on both ends, supports a brass bobeche subtly ornamented with a leaf outline border. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 8 ¾” tall, 4 1/8” wide, and project 5 ¾” from the wall.
