A fabulous antique five-light Neoclassical chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, with glass shades. The chandelier begins with a polychrome canopy encircled by leaves, coming down in a chain to a volute loop finial swathed in green acanthus leaves with a ring of leaves below. The chandelier body is formed of curled bands overlaid with elongated polychrome leaves. Each chandelier arm is hung with a dangling tassel and supports a simple, squared shade. A long foliate finial comes down into the center of the chandelier, with a bouquet of flowers springing from the bottom of the light fixture. The chandelier finishes in a tassel finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 21” wide and 20 ½” tall, and the fixture is 40 ½” long overall. This chandelier will ship in two boxes -- please contact us for a shipping quote.
