This is a fantastic pair of antique exterior wall-mount lanterns with slag glass, dating from the 1920’s. These exterior sconces have a rectangular cast iron backplate with an arrow border; a squared arm supports a lantern with a steeply sloped roof. The four-sided roof features triangular copper vents. Each side of the lantern is ornamented with a whimsical copper urn reminiscent of Aladdin’s lamp, ornamented with a vine design, with a slag glass background. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The porch lights have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 10 ¾” tall, 4 3/8” wide, and projects 8 ½” from the wall. They are suitable for either interior or exterior use.
