This is a rare antique Greek Revival three-light inverted dome chandelier, c. 1905. The chandelier begins with a canopy accented with a foliate band and a decorative finial. Three reeded rods with foliate and baluster details descend from the canopy and fasten to the shade's complementary reeded volutes. Encircling the top of the shade is a wide bronze border with original verdigris finish and a scale-patterned band above a gadrooned opaline shade. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edge. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The shade is 26-1/2" in diameter, and the fixture is approximately 36" long overall.
