A lovely antique door knocker found in a home in Boston, MA, and dating from the 1920’s. The door knocker is composed of a finely cast mythological dolphin. The dolphin’s ability to uplift has made it a favorite in design throughout the centuries and symbolizes love, friendliness, joviality, and freedom. The door knocker measures 4” wide, 7-3/4” tall, and projects 4”.
