Description
A splendid antique four-tiered chandelier with a beautiful two-tone finish, dating c. 1910 and found in a home in Rochester, NY. This three-light “wedding cake” chandelier begins with a decorative canopy that comes down in chain to a decorative loop finial attached to a leafy baluster-shaped upper body; baluster perches above a band featuring an beautiful Neoclassical motif. Suspended below are four tiers of sparkling icicle prisms, finished in a faceted glass ball. This light fixture is in very good condition with slight aging (as pictured,) and it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is 14-1/2″ wide, 24-1/2″ tall (body only, and is 42″ long overall.
