Built in the 1930s by George and Elizabeth Scholze, the residence reflects the couple’s refined taste and attention to detail. George Scholze, second-generation owner of the prominent Scholze Tannery in Chattanooga, helped earn the city its nickname, “Saddle Capital of the World.”
