Description
Beautiful pairs of antique pocket door plates, made by Russell & Erwin in their “St. Julien” pattern, circa 1909. The plates feature an elongated, octagonal shape ornamented at top and bottom with scrolling foliates and volutes surrounding a circular medallion; remnants of their original japanned finish accent the plates throughout. Each pair includes one plate with a keyhole, and one without (enough hardware for one door.) Each escutcheon measures 8-1/2” tall by 2-3/4” wide. The pocket door plates are in very good condition with varying patinas (as pictured.)
