Description
A finely cast bronze lion door knocker found in a home in Alexandria, VA, and dating from the early 1900’s. The door knocker retains its original, beautifully aged patina, and features a beautifully cast lion head gripping the knocker ring. The lion is thought to signify strength, pride, protection, and power. The door knocker measures 4-1/2” wide, 7-3/8” tall, and projects 1-5/8”.
