A fabulous “New Old Stock” antique privacy bolt with a thumb turn, dating from the early 1900’s and originally used on a rabbeted door. This bolt functions very nicely and has a lovely aged brass finish. The latch face plate measures 1″ wide by 4-1/8″ tall; the body measures 2-7/8″ deep by 2-1/8″ tall, and has a 2-5/8″ back set; the thumb turn measures 1″ wide by 2″ tall, and has a 1-1/8″ projection. Please note that because this privacy bolt was made for a rabbeted door, the faceplate of the lock body is curved (as pictured).
