A striking pair of antique pocket door locks, dating from the late 19th century, and made and marked by Hopkins & Dickinson Manufacturing Co. Each cast bronze mortise lock is ornamented with a charming design featuring stylized foliates. One lock face is convex, and the other concave, allowing one to nest within the other. This pocket door mortise pair is in excellent antique condition with a beautiful patina, and the locks’ push-button system with a pop-out handle is in good working condition. Each lock has a 1″ wide by 7″ tall faceplate; each lock body measures 3″ wide by 5″ tall with a 2-5/16″ backset.
