Description
A stunning pair of antique pocket door locks in Reading’s “Windsor” pattern, dating c. 1885. Each cast bronze mortise lock is ornamented with a streamlined geometric design. One lock face is convex, and the other concave, allowing one to nest within the other. This pocket door mortise pair is in excellent antique condition with a beautiful patina, and the locks’ push-button system with a pop-out handle is in good working condition. Each lock has a 1-1/8″ wide by 7-5/8″ tall faceplate; one lock body measures 3-3/8″ wide by 5-1/2″ tall with a 2-3/8″ backset. The other body measures 2-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ tall.
