A fierce antique brass lion door knocker, found in a home in Pennsylvania and dating from the early 1900s. The door knocker features a cast lion head gripping the knocker ring. The lion is thought to signify strength, pride, protection, and power. The door knocker retains its original beautifully aged patina, and measures 4-1/2” wide, 7-1/2” tall, and projects 2”.
