A marvelous antique oak fireplace mantel, dating from the early 1900s and found in a home in Columbus, OH. The mantel is crowned by a substantial shelf with beveled edges and dentil molding; the shelf is supported by two ionic columns. This mantel is in very good condition with the expected wear including chips and scratches, including two notched out holes on top of the shelf (as pictured.) It measures 62″ wide, 60-1/4″ tall and 14-1/8″ deep, and has a firebox opening of approximately 40-½” wide and 42″ tall.
