A fabulous antique acid-etched window, dating from the early 1900s. The window’s figural motif is bordered in elaborate frame of volutes, scrolling foliates, heraldic dolphins, flowers and palmettes. A young man stands in the center of the window donning a chef’s hat and presenting a fish on a platter; he holds a sauce boat in his other hand. The culinary figure is surrounded by lush greenery and sits on a platform above an urn. The glass is in excellent condition and the frame is also in very good condition with a stripped finish. The window frame measures 19-1/4″ wide, 42″ tall, with a frame 3/4” thick, and the glass measures 14-1/4″ wide and 37″ tall.
