Description

This is a remarkable antique Aesthetic Movement cast bronze door knob set, dating from the late 1800’s. Each knob is ornamented with a stylized floret design in the center, surrounded by four intricately cast motifs designed so that, when viewed one way, they resemble stylized flowers with elaborate foliage, and when viewed differently, are magnificent butterflies. The back of each knob is adorned with the same gorgeous design. This Eastlake doorknob set is in excellent condition with a few very tiny paint specks, and each knob measures 2 ¼” in diameter and 2” deep.
