Description
This is a stunning antique five-light Spanish Revival chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, in its original, near mint polychrome finish with red and blue-green accents. The chandelier begins with a polychrome canopy, and it descends in a chain to a volute loop finial. Below, the chandelier is richly ornamented with scroll and foliate detail. The cutout bobeches are ornamented with acanthus leaves and red accents, and each features a fleur-de-lis where it attaches to the chandelier arm. The chandelier finishes in a dangling volute finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19” wide and 25” tall, and the fixture is 41” long overall.
