Description

This is a wonderful antique flush-mount crystal and bronze light fixture. This two-light fixture, dating from the first part of the 20th Century, begins with a circular bronze band, ornamented with a volute pattern. A row of small, round prisms connects to the band, followed by rectangular faceted crystals. Below, rows of round prisms converge to meet a beautiful bronze center, which is ornamented with intricate foliate detail and anthemia. The fixture is finished in a delicate, faceted crystal ball. This light fixture is in very good antique condition; three of the crystals have minor chips at the corners (see picture), but they are hardly noticeable and do not detract from the beauty of the fixture. The light fixture has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures 10” in diameter and 10” tall.
