Description
This is a wonderful antique two-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. The fixture features a pair of chains descending from an oblong polychrome canopy, and an intricately detailed chandelier body. The chandelier body begins with an elongated section composed of volutes and foliate detail, which supports a platform holding the two lights. Below each light is a finial finished in a cluster of grapes; the finials are connected with an elegant pair of volutes that curve downward to a beautifully detailed crest with volute and grapevine detail. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 8” wide and 16 ¼” tall, and the fixture is 27 ½” long overall.
