Description
This is a wonderful pair of antique double-arm Gothic Revival sconces, c. 1930’s, with a linen-fold back plate and golden accents. Each sconce is crowned with a pair of addorsed leaves, accented with gold-colored highlights, with a linenfold design below. The backplate is framed on either side by a column border accented with golden bands. The pair of arms extend from a scalloped arm receiver bowl, coming upward to support simple gold-rimmed wax pans and candle cups. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 12” tall, 9 ¾” wide, and project 5” from the wall.
