Description

This is a beautiful pair of antique French single-arm sconces, dating from the first part of the 20th Century. The cast bronze sconces begin with an elegant back plate ornamented with acanthus and volutes. A long, S-curved volute arm, accented with foliate detail, extends from the center of the back plate, ending in a volute crowned with a sleek torsade bobeche. The wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. These sconces measure 4” wide, 8 ¼” tall, and have a 9 ¾” projection.
