Description

This is a wonderful antique American stained glass window from Philadelphia. Featuring a fleur-de-lis design, this window dates from the 19th Century. The center of the window features a green fleur-de-lis flanked by a looping pink ribbon design, on a clear glue-chip background reminiscent of winter frost. The top and bottom of the glass are bordered by a row of textured gold diamond shapes. The window is in good antique condition; it has a couple of tight hairlines in the fleur-de-lis and the ribbon (pictured) that are barely noticeable and do not detract from the beauty of the piece. The frame, which has been painted beige, has some peeling paint. The window measures 52 3/8” wide and 22 3/8” tall, with a frame 1 3/8” thick. The glass measures approx. 41 ½” wide and 18 1/8” tall.
