Description
A stunning antique Art Deco five-light slip shade chandelier dating from the 1930’s, and made by Midwest Manufacturing Company. The chandelier begins with a decorative canopy, coming down in chain to meet the fixture’s oversized angular finial accented by geometric details. The chandelier body below is ornamented with a coordinating geometric design featuring stylized ziggurats and volutes; five brown-tipped or “Soleure” series slip shades are interspersed between each panel. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass shades are in very good antique condition with some fleabites around the edges and a small chip (as pictured). The fixture measures 20-1/2″ wide, 17-1/2″ tall, and 32” long.
