Description
A fabulous antique five-light Art Deco chandelier in brass, dating from the 1920’s and salvaged out of a home in Syracuse, NY. The chandelier begins with an understated canopy, coming down in chain to meet a decorative loop finial. Below, the body is composed of an intricate framework of geometric cutouts and textured detailing; a Bakelite rod runs down the center of the fixture and is accented with a white soap stone sphere. Five bracket-style arms extend outward from the body to support downward-facing bobeches and exposed bulbs. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged patina; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20″ wide by 22-1/4” tall, and is 38-1/4” long overall. A coordinating fixture can be found under product code NC3637-RW.
