Description

This is a wonderful antique brass pendant light fixture with a double-signed Handel shade, numbered 8374. The pendant has a fluted canopy and shade holder with a very attractive patina. The shade, dating from the early 1900’s, is painted obverse and reverse in a lake scene. The foreground features trees and bushes, and the background is composed of mountains rising above the lake. The sky is a lovely rose gold color. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rim. The pendant has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The pendant measures approx. 8” wide and 13” tall, and the fixture is 32 ½” long overall.
