This is a fabulous set of antique door knobs, c. 1910, with their original matching back plates and mortise lock. The knob features a five-fold scroll design. The arched backplates are ornamented top and bottom with a floret surrounded by leaves and volutes, and a simple ribbed border runs around the edge of the plate. The mortise lock is signed Yale & Towne. This door hardware set is in very good antique condition, with a dent on one knob (pictured). The doorknobs are 2 ¼” in diameter and 2 ¼” deep; the plates are 8” long and 2 3/8” wide. Additional matching sets are available – please contact us if interested.
