Description
A stunning antique Eastlake door hardware set, made by Sargent in the “Ekado” design dating c. 1885. This cast bronze hardware set features a gorgeous asymmetrical design of stylized foliates and flowers. The set includes two doorknobs with their connecting spindle, a pair of plates, and an antique mortise lock (enough hardware for one door). It is in excellent condition with a nicely aged patina. Each doorknob measures 2-1/4” diameter by 2” projection, and each door plate measures 1-3/4” wide by 6” tall. The mortise lock face plate measures 1” wide by 6” tall, the lock body is 3-1/8” wide by 4-1/4” tall, and the lock has a 2-1/2” back set.
