Description
Striking antique figural double-arm sconce pair, dating from the 1930’s, and made by Lightolier. Each sconce’s porthole-like backplate is crowned with a beautifully cast eagle; the backplate features a domed and heavily-aged mirror in its center. Two, smooth U-shaped arms descend from a leafy base at the bottom of the backplate and extend to support foliate bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; their mirrors come in varying conditions. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 11-5/8” tall, 8” wide and project 4-1/8” from the wall.
