Description
This is a beautiful antique cast iron double-arm figural sconce, dating from the 1920’s and salvaged out of a home in Fairfax, VA. This sconce features a hexagonal back plate with a center shield motif over a textured background. Imposing birds of prey are perched above and below the sconce plate, flanked by two sconce arms supporting pierced bobeches. The wall lamp is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switch for nostalgia’s sake, but will gladly replace it with new ones if desired. The sconce measures 10” wide by 10-3/4” tall, and project 5” from the wall. Coordinating sconce pairs can be found under product code NSP1467-RW.
