Description
An incredible antique five-light figural Adam style chandelier, salvaged out of a home in Connecticut. The fixture begins with an intricately cast canopy; coming down in chain to meet a decorative loop finial which perches above the chandelier body. The underside of the fixture is ornamented with a design of urns flanked by ram heads, bellflower swags, anthemions, and leaf-and-dart trim; five arms extend outward to support downward facing bobeches with leafy details suspend below each arm; a curtain of wonderful icicle prisms surrounds their perimeters. This light fixture is in very good antique condition and its prisms are also in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The light fixture measures 22″ wide, 18-1/2“ tall (body only), and 38-1/2” long overall.
