Description
This is a striking antique nickel Tudor five-light chandelier with a fleur-de-lis design, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a hammered canopy, coming down in a chain to a T-shaped finial. Five textured bands support the ring-shaped body of the chandelier. The chandelier body is adorned with five shields, each accented with a pair of fleurs-de-lis. A chandelier arm is fastened to the ring between each crest, supporting a simple, hammered bobeche. Underneath, the five hammered bands converge to a pole that runs the length of the chandelier. The base of the pole finishes in foliate detail, with a diamond-shaped fleur-de-lis finial at the bottom. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20” wide and 19” tall, and the fixture is 38” long overall.
