A marvelous antique five-light chandelier in its original silver-plated finish, dating from the early 1900’s and found in a home in Louisville, KY. The chandelier begins with a sleek canopy that comes down in chain to a decorative loop finial perched atop the chandelier’s open body; the framework is adorned with delicate foliate and bellflower detailing. Below, five u-shaped arms curl upwards to support egg and dart embellished bobeches and understated candle cups. This light fixture is in very good condition with a beautifully aged finish. The fixture has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16” wide and 20” tall, and the fixture is 36-1/4” long overall.
