Description
This is a fantastic antique four-light pan light fixture, in its original silver plate over brass, c. 1910. The chandelier begins with a graceful loop finial accented with a shell, coming down to the smooth, silver plated chandelier body. The four intricately cast chandelier arms, extending from the sides of the body, are formed of volutes and acanthus leaves. A sleek shade holder dangles from each arm, supporting a simple, four-sided shade. The bottom of the chandelier is ornamented with a lovely leaf-bordered appliqué, from which hangs a foliate finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully worn finish and just the expected fleabites around the rims of the shades. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The width of the chandelier is 18 ½”, the length of the chandelier only is 14 ¼”, and the overall length is 32 ¾”.
