Description
A gorgeous antique Neoclassical five-light chandelier in brass, dating from the early 1900’s, and found in a home in Chicago, IL. The chandelier begins with an understated canopy that comes down in chain to a loop finial and slender baluster-shaped rod below. The rod affixes to the ring-style lower body which is bordered with five sleek bobeches; each bobeche is adorned with a curtain of sparkling “icicle” prisms. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged patina; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18” wide by 17-1/2” tall, and is 34” long overall.
