A delightful antique Neoclassical five-tiered chandelier in brass, dating c. 1910 and found in a home in Arlington, VA. This three-light “wedding cake” chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with a band of stylized leaves before coming down in chain to connect to a decorative loop finial. The finial sits atop the slightly domed brass roof of the chandelier body; the roof is encircled with a coordinating foliate design. Below, the chandelier supports five tiers of sparkling “icicle” prisms, and is finished with a faceted crystal ball. This chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is approx. 15” wide and approx. 24” long; the fixture is approx. 40” long overall.
