An incredible antique silver plate chandelier, dating from the 1910’s and found in a home in New Orleans, LA. The light fixture begins with an understated canopy that comes down in chain to meet a loop finial surrounded by curling bands, glass flowers, and swagged prism strands. Below, the slender and open body frame is hung with swagged clear and lavender prisms surrounding a slender center rod. Five smooth arms extend from the bottom of the fixture to support understated bobeches; the light finishes with a lavender faceted glass ball beneath. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and has been professionally rewired with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 22″ wide by 29″ tall, and is 50-1/2” long overall. This chandelier requires a custom shipping quote; please contact us if you have any questions.
