An incredible antique silver plate chandelier, dating from the 1910’s and found in a home in New Orleans, LA. The light fixture begins with an understated canopy that comes down in chain to meet a loop finial surrounded by curling bands, glass flowers, and swagged prism strands. Below, the slender and open body frame is hung with swagged clear and lavender prisms surrounding a slender center rod. Five smooth arms extend from the bottom of the fixture to support understated bobeches; the light finishes with a lavender faceted glass ball beneath. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and has been professionally rewired with all necessary attachments for modern installation.
