Description
This is a beautiful antique four-tiered wedding cake chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s, and found in a home in Louisville, KY. This two-light “wedding cake” chandelier begins with an understated canopy that comes down in chain to a decorative loop finial attached to a leafy baluster-shaped upper body; baluster perches above a band featuring an intricately cast Neoclassical floral motif. Suspended below are four tiers of sparkling icicle prisms, finished in a faceted glass ball. This petite light fixture is in very good condition with several soldered seams (as pictured,) and it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is 13″ wide and 27-1/4” tall; the fixture is 31-1/4” long overall.
