Description
A beautiful antique three-light inverted dome chandelier with it’s fabulous original opaline glass shade, found in a home in Pittsburg, PA. Dating from the 1910’s, the chandelier begins with an understated canopy with three loops. A chain extends from each loop to support the bowl-shaped shade; each chain fastening with a petite rosette. The shade is crowned with a beaded border ornamented with flaming urns and beaded swags; the bottom features a radiating and stylized floral design. This light fixture is in excellent condition with the expected fleabites around the edges; there is a small crack by one of the rosettes which does not detract from the beauty of the fixture. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The shade measures 16-1/2″ in diameter by 9” tall, and is 33” long overall.
