Description

This is a marvelous antique Neoclassical pendant light with its original shade, dating to the early 1900’s. The chandelier begins with a beautifully cast finial and fitter in brass; the egg-shaped shade below features a gorgeous design of swagged foliates interspersed between stylized columns with bellflower details. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the shade is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rim. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The shade measures 11-1/4” in diameter, 22-1/4″ tall, and the overall length of the fixture is approx. 41-1/2”.
