Description
Stunning antique five-light silver plated chandelier, with a patent dating June 1923 and found in a home in New York. This light fixture begins with an understated canopy that comes down in a chain to a decorative loop finial; the finial is perched on a two tiered platform with foliate edges, which make up the chandelier body. Below, a cluster of five scrolling arms curl out to support downward-facing bobeches hung a curtain of sparkling “icicle” prisms. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20″ wide and 15-1/2″ tall, and the fixture is 30″ long overall.
