Description
A stunning antique five-light silver plated chandelier by Star Chandelier Co., dating from the 1920s and found in a home in New York. This light fixture begins with an elegant foliate canopy that comes down in a chain to a petite loop finial; the finial is perched on a slim baluster and leafy platform which make up the chandelier body. Below, a cluster of five scrolling bands curl out to support downward-facing bobeches hung a curtain of sparkling “icicle” prisms. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19-1/2″ wide and 24-1/2″ tall, and the fixture is 41″ long overall.
