A stunning antique Neoclassical five-tier “wedding cake” chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s, and salvaged out of a home in Chicago, IL. This four-light chandelier begins with a floral canopy, descending in chain to meet a decorative loop finial which attaches to a beautifully detailed urn. Below, a hexagonal band with a mica backdrop and foliate cutouts features exposed bulbs and hanging prism accents. The band supports five tiers of sparkling “ziggurat” prisms, and finishes with a faceted glass ball beneath. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is 20-1/4″ wide and 33” tall; the fixture is 45-1/2” long overall.
